Town Center Community Park Update

Full Description:

Phase II of Town Center Community Park is slated to begin in early March 2006. Over the course of nine months, grading activity will prepare the site for the construction of a tournament quality softball/baseball complex complete with a restaurant, soccer fields, a performance area, trails, playgrounds, arena soccer facilities, a revegetated Woodglen Vista Creek and various support facilities such as parking and restrooms. The project should be complete by late Fall 2007.

Funding has been made available for this project through tax increment financing and developer’s fees with no increase in taxes to citizens. Anticipated costs for this phase of development are expected to approach $18 million.
